The Ruskin Bond festival headed off to a great start. The first session - Lone Fox Dancing - saw upwards of 50 people. It started off with Dr Seema Raizada, president of Club Literati, and Dr Amita Singh, a notable member of Club Literati, addressing the crowd.
Following that, we had a presentation by Rushank Goyal, founder of Literary Coterie, giving a brief introduction to Ruskin Bond and an overview of the four-day festival.
Next, there was an interactive session with different members sharing their viewpoints.
We also had a quiz conducted by Vansh Uppal.
The winners of the quiz were Lavanya Kapoor and Adi Shrivastava. They were awarded copies of Ruskin Bond's novella 'The Blue Umbrella' and a pen.
Finally, we had Ruskin Bond-themed snacks - Mrs P.A. Priesen's Peanut Butter & Chocolate cookies and mint-flavoured ice tea.
All members are looking forward to the next session - Ghosts & Hills - on 19th May 2019.
